Looking on ESPN's main site, we have yet to give up 30 all season. Okay, so maybe we haven't faced an offense as good as Oregon's but who gives a fuck. They may score 30 of more but why are some of your pussies so convinced they will? I really wouldn't be surprised if we held them to about 17-21 range. Against the ever-so-stingy UCLA defense, Oregon was able to scorch the score board with 24 points. Not saying that's proof we will stop them, I'm just tired of reading through this thread and seeing a bunch of pussies from our own school talking about some sort of shoot out. Give me a fucking break, anyone that knows are coach knows this will not be a shoot out. This will be played like any other game we play. We are going to come out, punch people in the mouth and shit on their uniforms. 2010 can't get here soon enough. So sick of waiting and listening to this garbage.

I would think Tressel will try to keep the ball out of Oregon's hands as long as possible. At the risk of sounding like a douche, the length OSU is able to hang on to the ball might have some to do with how well Oregon's D holds up against the run. That's the only way OSU can win a shoot out with Oregon, is my thought... If the Buckeyes are scoring at will with the ground game.oreducks77;1622698; said:Here's a Ohio State 2009 Defense Highlight video
YouTube - Ohio State Defense 2009
From what I can see, you guys have a really big/strong front four, and a really opportunistic secondary. And since you guys are Linebacker U. in the midwest, I don't even have to mention how good the LB's are.
It looks like your defense lives up to the hype, but it's also hard to tell how they will match up against our offense. Looking at the highlight video, I really don't see any team that is that similar to us, or has the spread-specific personnel that we have. Just because Michigan and Illinois run the spread, doesn't mean they run the spread like we do, or as well as we do.... just like saying "Washington runs a Pro-Style offense with a mobile QB", but that doesn't mean they run it as well, or have the talent that Ohio State does, see what i'm saying?
It's going to be interesting. Our team, as a whole, is small and fast. Your team, is a lot bigger and stronger. I don't see us scoring that much in the first half, but i'm hoping in the second half we will be able to wear your defense down and start to unload.
Only 2 weeks away !!!
