UGH... just got facebooked this message from a scUM fan to all Buck fans-
I think it is funny that O fans think the football team is a lock for the National Championship next year. Enjoy your win against Oregon. In my opinion, this win is the equivalent to beating Notre Dame. It feels good but in reality, the win doesn't mean much. Wait until you beat a quality team that is not from the Big 10, let's say from the SEC, before your ego gets too big.

Just as I suspected..... the "It wasn't REALLY a BIG GAME since you won....."

Another reason to dislike scUM fan...

He was probably one of the Michigan fans who predicted a 44-13 win for Oregon....

At least he gave Ohio State some credit ... he could have said that the Rose Bowl win was the equivalent of beating Eastern Michigan.

First time I've read this thread. I was just rolling in happiness and satisfaction.
We played a great game and won a big game and I'm very happy for the team and tOSU.
I don't care what the media says or scummers, or the ducks or anyone else.
It's time to celebrate for another 8 months.
I'd tell ESPN and Mariotti and the scum fans who want to degrade our team and victories to take a hike.
Hey! scum boys ! wheres your bowl win?

They should at least wait until their team even fucking qualifies for a bowl game before they start shooting their mouths off...

I loved getting a big bowl win to get the monkey off our backs. It was a great win against a very good team with a monster of an offense but not such a great defense. I think we need to see continued improvement and consistency from our offense, which we saw in the RB, to have realistic hopes of a national championship. I think we did see improvement on offense, against very strong defenses (PSU and Iowa), in other games at the end of the year as well. I like the balance that the Rose Bowl showed our offense to be capable of. Oregon was all about taking away our power running game so we game planned to beat them through the air and were able to execute.

Our defense has been great the last two years but when our offense struggled, they couldn't win by themselves. With all we have returning and what is shaping up to be a very strong recruiting class, the next couple years should produce excellent results. Now just hurry up and get here spring ball!

While every single sentence of Mariotti's piece, or, to be honest, anything else he's ever written, is filled with idiocy, these two comments are especially ludicrous:

1. Somebody must have missed UM's history in the Rose Bowl for about the last 40 years or so, not to mention Nebraska's run of futility from the mid 1980s through the early 1990's, just to name two crappy big game ruts.

2. I guess this makes sense since the BCS NC win and two Fiesta Bowl wins weren't played on New Year's Day . . .

It's actually offensive to me that this assbag still breathes among us.

You sure this was a scUM fan? I don't think so. Who the hell are they talking about? Ohio University? Who is O?:tongue2:

Now, if they would have put O$U, I would believe 100% it was a scUMmer, but have my suspicions with this one.
