no offense, but that is stupid, it takes a little more than two victories in thirty years before you can start bragging about something like that
Have you seen the roster for next year at all? Figure we could start early... it is stupid to not cherish a rose bowl win (not a slim margin of victory, either) if you are a true fan. But I will change it to something more realistic if that will make YOU happy (this IS your world that we are living in, isn't it? :o)

I think he's talking about the fact that you said we own the Rose Bowl more than anything. I get what you're saying, but at the same time, I understand where he's coming from.

Plus.....I don't think we're going to the Rose Bowl next year (depending on who stays and who leaves)

prematurely bragging about a victory in next year's Rose Bowl is how true fans cherish the one that we won less than four days ago? interesting

I am just calling you out because stuff like that gives Ohio State fans a bad name, bragging about owning a bowl game that you have won twice in a couple decades is stupid, if another fan base did it we would all mock how idiotic it was, the fact that you defend the claim by banking on another victory next year makes it even worse

I will admit error here: should not have said we own it. I am a realist in knowing that USC does own it more than anyone, and as far as bragging about next year I am just living on high hopes. I also know that we cannot go into the season expecting too much because we have been disappointed before. So you are right, no more bragging about winning next years rose bowl or owning the stadium after one win there every 10-15 years.

I am not saying we can't change that, just give it a little more time, my expectations are ridiculously through the roof as well, believe me

it's the first day of class and I guess I am a little pissed off, I will calm down now a little bit I suppose

A quick glimpse into my crazed statistical brain... :)

Does anyone know why Blount gets credited with 18 yards on that fumble? I guess you have to put in those yards somewhere, but if Blount never had control of that ball, which he didn't, then you would think they would give the 18 yards to Masoli, since he officially fumbled that ball. If you take those 18 yards away, which our defense didn't truly "give up", we only allowed the Ducks an even more meager total of 242 yards.
