2010 Rivals/Scout/etc. National & Regional Rankings

It is these types of rankings that drive me nuts...and I understand it is ESPN...

no one that follows Ohio football recruiting would put Baldwin over Norwell and Turner...

Yes I know Norwell had the injury and Turner had the issues that seem to be taken care of, but those 2 with out those things would be looked at as top 50 players in the country, and yet a guy that some that follow ohio football recruiting and are wondering about the offer and how he will perform here is rated above them two and at the 112 mark.

CLASS OF 2010 POST SEASON TOP 100
by Charles Fishbein | December 7th, 2009 @ 11:51 pm

...

2. Lamarcus Joyner, DB/WR, 5-9, 170, Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas: Before the season began, most felt Joyner was overrated because he played at Southwest High in Miami. But after his move over to the nation?s No. 1 program, there is little doubt that this is easily one of the best prospects not only in Florida, but the entire country.
...
8. Brandon Linder, OL, 6-5, 290, Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas: For the past three years, there has not been a more athletic and productive big man in the state of Florida. His athletic ability and leadership has earned him praise from college throughout the country. He can play tackle, guard or center at the next level.
...
30. James Louis, WR, 5-11, 180, Delray Beach Atlantic ? (Committed to Ohio State: If you have had the pleasure of watching this young man play, you have been treated to a show. Whether it was on offense or defense, his speed, athletic ability and desire to be the best was something that truly put himself in a class by himself. This is truly an impact player at the next level.

Why no love for James Louis? That kid can fly, his YPC are pretty sick too

Out of the services Athlon uses to compile their composite scores, only one has James Louis in their top 100. ESPN ranks Louis at #80. His other rankings are:

Rivals: 222
Scout: 119
OffenseDefense: 160
PrepStar: NR
Takkle: 163

Damn, I just don't get it, do sites not like his hands or routes? The film I've seen, this kid is a playmaker who makes you want to stand up and say "ooh and aaah" everytime he has the ball in his hands!
