2010 OSU Fall Camp (check in on 8/5)

1. Thanks for the pics, jwins.
2. Team looks great.
3. I love the red and black cleats but how about sporting the ones '09 C. Brown is wearing, at least once in a while?

The see through pants were in 05 (they were bright white in the sun), they've become slightly darker each year, but this year they are a very rich gray color. I'd still prefer the ones from 04 but these are a nice upgrade.

I've got about 5 min of scrimmage footage (very vanilla plays) coming later today in 720p resolution.

Liked the little I saw from Nate williams. I know they aren't full go but he just looks like he is shot out of a cannon every single snap. I'm looking forward to him being an every down guy this year.

I like the idea of our QB getting out of the pocket this year on designed rollouts. I know last year our coaches didn't put a lot of faith in Terrelle's passing over the middle third of the field because of his early season woes. Rolling him out makes him truly dynamic, yet sort of controlled in my opinion. They love to run that playaction roll out to the left hitting the receiver on the corner or the TE underneath. It'd be nice to see more variations of that.

I can't help but get excited about our RBs this year, and I have to believe the Tressel's are just chomping at the bit. Such a variation of different talents that it should be fun to see them all get on the field. Mix that with a very dangerous TE and a few proven WRs and I think a lot of defenses will be kept on their heals this year. Of coarse, if we come out this year with the ability to run the ball down the throat of our opponent, you'd never hear me complain about the offense. I like bland. Bland wins games in this system.
