I like your system better than mine. I say we look at the two charts and make an objective vote which can include personal opinions. Who are your top-3 best/worst drafts?

With bonuses for close picks? Multipliers? Anything like or just the basic data?

With the 41st pick, Buffalo selects:

Brandon Spikes, LB, Florida

Tampa Bay is on the clock...

I hope if Buffalo does use their 2-pick on a defender who runs a slower-than-5-second 40, they go with their greatest defensive need and switch these 2 selections.

Bump for lack of a thread to put this in, and not wanting to make a thread for just this.

The slow 40 time meant that Spikes was passed on by many clubs who felt his slack of 40 speed too great a factor to ignore. Urban's buddy Belichick drafted Brandon at New England, and came up looking like a genius.

Spikes was the only NFL linebacker with more than 25 tackle attempts who didn't miss a single tackle - he ended up his rookie season with zero misses in 52 tackle attempts. Granted, he did not play as much as some other guys, but if nothing else it shows how dicey it is to assess talent, and how instinct, ability to shed blockers, and a nose for the ball can replace straight line 40 speed.*

(* Emmitt Smith's 4.7 40 comes to mind)
