Thanks Dryden, FSU next up on the docket. The Bucks have not played real well the last couple of games (19 and 21 point wins, I'm not too spoiled am I?) and they need to step it up against the Noles.

Dont really care for the 10 days off right now. Could use that break a little later. Although, if Thomas is a bit banged up, he's got some time to heal without missing games.

Don't really care for the schedule as a whole. It's downey soft. I would think it might help recruiting if you show the players your going to give them a challenge a better chance to develop the entire season. 3 or 4 games from big conference opponents would go a long way.

Don't be surprised if the 12/23 game versus Oakland isn't the cakewalk some may assume it to be on the surface. Their last two games:

I watched some of their game last night against Tennecheat and they have some pretty athletic players. It will be a good test for the Buckeyes in addition to the South Carolina game this Saturday.

Oakland has a legitimate NBA talent in Keith Benson, their 6-10 center. One of the few players Jared Sullinger may find himself physically challenged by.

One could make the case that Oakland's coach, Greg Kampe, has underachieved this season given the presence of a talent like Benson on the roster. Oakland's overall record is only 7-5, though granted they've played a big-time schedule. Their losses are to WVU, Purdue, Wright State (a bad loss), Illinois and Sparty.

and be a major pain in the ass for whoever draws them in the first round of the NCAAs

Ohio State needs to upgrade the schedule

There's no arguing that Ohio State's men's basketball program has become one of the nation's best.

By all accounts, the school has a sparkling arena that is among the best in the Midwest. It boasts an incredibly watchable team with a marquee player in freshman Jared Sullinger.

Now, it's time to stop ripping off fans.

If you attend games before the Jan. 9 Big Ten home opener with Minnesota, Ohio State is stealing your money with a schedule rated 189th in Division I.

This season, the Buckeyes will play 13 times before their New Year's Eve conference opener at Indiana. There are five games with teams from the Carolinas. Only one -- South Carolina -- belongs anywhere near a schedule Ohio State prints. The only two games with competitive programs were played in Florida.

Look, I understand paycheck games. Everyone plays them. But Ohio State, which does a good job of keeping football money in Ohio, is a joke in the winter. This season, the Miami RedHawks came to Columbus and got their check and 66-45 beating.

Miami is the only school from Ohio on the Buckeyes' schedule.

Wow, I think a lot of people have not realized how awful the ACC is outside of Duke this year. North Carolina isn't a top 20 team and they are probably the second best team in the conference.
