When do they usually put out the playing dates/times:huh: I thought they might broadcast it on the Tennis Channel. Talking about Buchanan's match. Sorry forgot that.

The times for the matches are now posted on the USOpen website.

Monday's Times are posted and Chase is not listed so I assume he will be playing Tuesday. Pity Britton will get center court with Roger F

Britton was overmatched with Fed today, didn't realize he turned pro after the NCAA season.

Chase will be playing Tuesday at 11 am vs. Tsonga on the Grandstand court.

Tennis Channel has the broadcast rights for the time of his match.
Tsonga is such a strong player, can't imagine Buchanan elevating his game to the levels needed to do some damage to the world's #7/8 player.

Roddick looked average last night, not bad but not anywhere near his best. And I love Johnny Mac doing commentary, but whoever thought it was a good idea to have he and Patrick do commentary together should be fired...it was like 2 8-year-old brothers watching a Star Wars movie. Lucking Agassi hit the booth and bailed them out.

agreed, its gonna take a horrible match by Tsonga for Chase to have a shot

Unfortunately Tsonga did not have a "horrible" match.
Final score was 6-0, 6-2, 6-1.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga beats Chase Buchanan in straight sets at U.S. Open - ESPN

Tsonga played cleanly Tuesday, making only 12 unforced errors, 24 fewer than Buchanan, who was the youngest man in the field. Buchanan was awarded a wild card by the U.S. Tennis Association as the 2009 USTA boys' 18s champion.
Buchanan, of New Albany, Ohio, was making his Grand Slam debut. He had never faced anyone ranked higher than 121st.

it was brutal watching the tennis channel after that much, and them saying they need to quit giving auto WC to the us open for anyone who wins the 18 championships, cause they usually don't belong year as was the case with Chase.

I think Roddick has a landmine match against Isner in the 3rd rd (if both get there). Andy is going to have a hard time breaking Isner's serve, but Andy shouldn't have trouble holding serve since Isner's groundstrokes aren't the greatest. But the problem with Andy is a lot of matches, he'll have that 1 game, where he serves awful and gets broken, if that happens with Isner, this could be a 5 setter. I see 2 tiebreakes in that match

Federer got pushed last night, Gruel really played well. That said, he was still that much better, which makes him look like the clear favorite based on form in play thus far.

i hate it when i'm right ugh, I didn't get to watch the match since I was in Columbus for the football game, but I'm assuming that's pretty much what happened, it came down to 1 or 2 pts in both tiebreakers.

Yeah, a player like Isner is a tough matchup for Andy if he reverts to his passive style and can only rely on his serve.

No American men are left after the fourth round. :(
Thankfully the tv ratings won't get a terrible blow because of Serena Williams and Oudin. :)
What a great story Momma Kim Clijsters has become!
Another big lapse on Andy Murray's part today, Cilic eliminates the #2 seed who looked very sluggish.
Djokovic has only dropped one set in his run to the quarters, he is looking strong, and playing clean, quality tennis.
Nadal is battling an abdominal strain.
Del Potro is poised to shock the tennis world, and yet the championship appears to be Roger's if he doesn't stumble into complacency.

Anyone else watching the Nadal/Monfils match right now? Epic, thus far.

Big match, Monfils is taking it to him. I don't think these guys are gonna like each other much after this though, with all the yelling and fist-pumping and challenging going back and forth.
