2009 US Open Tennis - Men

Yeah, Fed was up 4-0 in the 3rd set tiebreak, it looked like the match was about over, and then he lost it.

Right now, it's 6-6 in the 4th set tiebreak.

Now it's over. 8-6 Fed in the 4th set breaker.

22 straight semis in majors.

Nadal may have just lost this tournament becasue of the rain...He's gonna have to play 3 matches in 3 days (if he makes it to the final), and just not sure if his body is going to hold up....

question though, if the rain doesn't stop (which i hope it does), and Nadal and Gonzales have to play their qtrfinal match Saturday morning, and let's say Nadal wins the match in straight sets, since he would have only played one set, would they make him play the semifinal match that night??

They just reported that rain is expected for all day Saturday as well. :(

Right now the schedule for Saturday only lists the Nadal v. Gonzales quarterfinal match.

If they would ask the winner to return and play the semi at night, they would also have listed the Federer v. Djokovic semi on Saturday (which they do not).
So it appears that they will try to play both semis on Sunday and the finals on Monday.
