The WMU secondary apparently had issues while they had a tremendous safety and another quality corner, if CFN is to be believed. I can see both defenses yielding a lot of yardage... does WMU have much of a running game? That's where I think UM will be overmatched.

their leading rusher Brandon West returns, he ran for 1,026 yards and 8 TDs last year

4 starters on their oline also return.....

I just can't help thinking if I'm a coach the last thing in the world I want to see with my true freshman QB is a pass happy MAC team with a 6th year QB who can get me into a shootout.

My keys for a scUM win are their offense running the ball down WMU's throat and their defense getting a lot of pressure on the QB. If they don't and the WMU QB gets time, they are in a world of hurt imo.

Just remember folks, we're talking about a MAC team and m*ch*g*n here, with the word "overmatched" used in reference to m*ch*g*n. These are high times.

Makes me have visions of yelling "This....is....Columbus!" as I kick Desmond Howard and Nick Lachey off the top of the 'Shoe to their deaths mid note.

A lot of reports out of scUM camp that Denard Robinson is impressing while Tater has been merely adequate. This bares watching because if Denard eats into a lot of Tater's playing time, it might be worth striking up the transfer watch. That entire family seems to have trouble sticking anything out and with Tater being the apparent "chosen one" and last chance at daddy's QB dreams, I can't imagine them handling him being a backup particularly well.

The best part is Robinson probably just hasn't seen enough snaps being a true non spring freshman to completely take the job away so they could easily go into the season with another 2 QB circle jerk.

Make sure everyone that frequents scUM boards is copying all the QB Force = Savior stuff. It looks like we are going to get mileage out of that even quicker than we thought. :biggrin:
