Video interview and game action of slot WR Jeremy Gallon (verbal to UM).
Rivals Free
WRs vs DBs clips, Gallon, Turner, Wood, Green, McGee.
After all the crowing over Gallon besting Wood (a clearcut safety) regularly, he has his way with Turner (CB) at 1:20. Brown did as well
I'd say he's their '09 Odoms, but a little better. I think he'll do well in AA, if someone can get him the football well.NFBuck;1369935; said:Gallon is their '09 McHoppy. We'll see how he does after taking some college football hits...

GBW front page using Boyd's face with a teaser line about recruiting linking to hidden message board material, more of their usual rebellion against contributing to the scout network.
Did RR finally figure out that Boyd can play?
The film, camps and visibility from the past two years didn't show him that, but one week in San Antonio did?
Boyd was excited about Stewart's new O getting away from the run-heavy offense of Pat White under RR. When that failed, they brought back a lot of rushing and he decommitted. Will he feel differently about UM?
18. Michigan will open the 2009 season with a loss (to Western Michigan)
The Wolverines won't be much better in their second season under coach Rich Rodriguez, who still won't have the right personnel to run his spread offense. For the third straight season, Michigan will start its schedule with a stunning loss in the not-so-Big House, falling to Western Michigan.

9. Terrelle Pryor will be a Heisman Trophy candidate
Pryor will be much better as a sophomore, especially if tailback Chris "Beanie" Wells returns
for the 2009 season. Even if Wells enters the NFL draft, Pryor, currently a true freshman, is
capable of carrying the Buckeyes to another Big Ten championship. Pryor will lead the
Buckeyes to a victory over USC on Sept. 12, thrusting the sophomore quarterback near the
top of the list of Heisman Trophy contenders.
No, fifth ... you forgot the original #1 guy, Russell Shepard (LSU verbal).Buckeyeskickbuttocks;1372690; said:So, what's this.. RR's 4th number 1 guy at QB (Focier, Beaver, Newsome) this recruiting year?

If the U-M football team strikes out in the Terrelle Pryor sweepstakes, it may have an early lead in the race for next year's highly touted dual-threat quarterback.
2009 recruit Russell Shepard (Houston (TX) Cypress Ridge), a five-star quarterback much like Pryor, has U-M very high on his list.
Shepard, a lifelong University of Texas fan, visited the Longhorns over the weekend. But even though he got a scholarship offer from his favorite team, he told the Austin American-Statesman that he may have a different favorite than many would think.
"I would say Texas is still up there, but Michigan is really at the top of my list, especially if they don't get Terrelle Pryor," he told the paper. "I feel like I could go there and play right away. I'm also looking at Florida and LSU. Both of those schools have pretty good depth-chart situations for me."
Back in February, Michigan Man thought that Shepard was a done deal....AthleteVault said:“My top schools are Michigan, Oklahoma, LSU, Texas A&M, Texas, and Florida,” Shepard said.
While he has a list of six schools that are subject to change, Shepard expressed what he liked about each school.
Michigan: “I love that Coach Rodriguez is there and is the face of the spread offense. It has been a school that has been running the pro style offense for over two decades. If I was to attend that school, I look forward to being the first to change that school’s history in such a long time and putting that program back on the map. This past year they kind of fell to the hill and I would look forward to going there and playing for a young and talented coach that has done well in his career.”

The Fighting Irish showed how explosive they can be in their 49-21 victory over Hawaii in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. Thanks to its watered-down schedule in 2009 -- it has only four road games (Michigan, Purdue, Pittsburgh and Stanford) and one neutral-site game (Washington State in the Alamodome) -- Notre Dame will finish 8-4, which will be good enough to save coach Charlie Weis' job.
