2009 TSUN arguments, shenanigans (not football)

RR is indeed bringing new traditions to scUM.

This is now the official celebration after each first down by the scUm offense.
Notice it's a defensive player doing the dousing. The defense gets to celebrate for not having to turn right around and get back on the field just yet.

Word is Charlie the Tuna is thinking about adopting the same thing at ND, although on a limited scale. His ego will not allow the team to celebrate any first downs against Army, Navy, Air Force, and (after watching film of scUM's spring game) scUM.

and in doing so, looked like an ass yourself.

is that another slot dot offer I hear coming down the pike?

Yep, I looked like an ass because I judged a player on the position he plays. Makes sense. Jwins has a great point, though, that Sam may have been a better WR in RRs offense, and as he pointed out, he was basically chosen out of need, not because he was the best fit.

you should take all jokes this seriously. it will help you in life.

don't let us assholes get away with anything. fight the good fight!

The joke was funny the first thousand times. The next thousand, not so much. Pretty old by now. But, I'm sure that won't stop you. Keep up the comedic act, it never gets old to anyone. New material is overrated.

With Gallon qualifying there is a little more maize n blue optimism...often lending little nuggets of wisdom for us:

Gallon is the real deal. His speed, elusiveness, and ability to hit top end speed after 2-3 steps says it all. The Big 3 Florida schools passed on Gallon because of his poor academic situation; Michigan took a chance on Gallon and will be rewarded very greatly. This guy is the ultimate slot receiver.

Florida, Florida State, and Miami passed on him because of academics; and Michigan (the Harvard of the West) took a flyer on him...not really guys.

Looking at the 2010 UM recruiting class and looking at their posts on other boards they are pumped up about these guys.

Gallon getting in has them talking about letting some of the other slot dots go because Gallon is such a talent.

My question for Buckeye fans is this:
Would you be excited if the roles were reversed and OSU was bringing in UM's class and vice versa?

I for one would be very worried about the talent level of the incoming class if I were a UM fan. If coach Tressel were bringing in loads of 3 star offensive "talent" I have a feeling that Buckeye fans would be slashing their wrists.

I understand that Rod is trying to recruit a certain athlete for a certain system, but I'm not seeing the "imagine the talent he'll bring in once he's at Michigan" comments coming to fruition. Stars mean nothing, I know.

Again, if UMs 2010 class was coming into Ohio State I think we'd all be scared stiff that Tress had lost his touch.

Thoughts?
