2009 TSUN arguments, shenanigans (not football)

I'm beginning to sense a trend with all of Mich's players...

He will play runningback and probably be used on screens, quick slants, and reverses.

He will play tight end and probably be used on screens, quick slants, and reverses.

He will play wideout and probably be used on screens, quick slants, and reverses.

He will play quarterback and probably be used on screens, quick slants, and reverses.

Hmm. Maybe that's because YOU ONLY RUN SCREENS, QUICK SLANTS, AND REVERSES.

You forgot draws. :)

I don't even know what to say about this...
From that scout thread linked earlier. Just ridiculous there board has been out of its mind the last 6 decades or so and its been very entertaining.

FIFY, oh that's right, Al Gore hadn't invented the internet for their board to be so delusional 60 years ago, back when they contended for NC's year in and year out.

Well I can for obvious reasons. Michigan also had the worst qbs last year. I seriously can't think of any team having qbs that sucked as bad as Threet and Sheridan. Michigan does have talent at the wr positions. They just need a qb that can get them the ball, and a HC who actually calls plays that use quality WR's and not undersized pee wee slot type WR's.

FIFY, sorry, I could not help joining the kick rr when he is down parade.

Folks in UM land are confident about Stokes, Robinson, Witty & Washington, and have been waffling on the DT soft commits.

Now for the rumors:
Scout.com: Have faith but...
I'm not one for spreading rumors...so I'm just going to relay whats the "word on the street." Especially since anything can happen in the last day or two.

But anyway, the "word on the street" (and a very credible one at that) is that Quinton Washington is headed to South Carolina. We finish #2.

Take it FWIW, but that's what I've been told...

Michigan is still in play for around 12 kids. There are rumors on GBW that Jones and Graves are solid(until they sign I would be nervous if I were them). Michigan better pray everything goes their way because this NLOID could be a serious trainwreck if they have decommittments and only pick up 1-2 guys.
50.1%? (I seriously can't believe people pay for Beaver's "inside information" when all it really amounts to is a coin flip) I spent my 7 day free pass over there laughing my ass off at his blogs.

Graves and Jones are "soft"...really soft. If they get one of those two they shoudl be happy.

That's what she said.

I noticed they had a chat last night over on GBW with more than 200 people at one point. Those people are getting lied to everyday and are believing it. Its getting hilarious. IMO Tommorow is shaping up to be a train wreck for Michigan.

I bash Beaver regularly on another board.....and the Michigan fans flock to his rescue. In their minds, they'll never have to go through a 'boyd situation' because they're never told they'll be getting anybody past "the sunny side of 50%". What a tool.

They are starting to find out recruiting florida and the deep south is not easy. They are in meltdown mode. They have the 20th ranked class according to scout and could be worse especially if they have decommits. I don't take rankings that seriously but IMO this is telling of this years recruiting for Michigan. 2010 could be another rough year for them.

I think it's funny how UM people think RR is being negatively recruited against more than any other coach in the country...
Sometimes coaches manufacture their own negativity... :)

I see it as the "he'll have access to better talent at UM" fallacy coming to light. His system attracts the talent that his system attracts. UM has attracted the talent they have in the past based on the effect their system had on player's prospects beyond college.

There is a lot to that I believe. It might be that he is getting better offensive talent in now than he previously saw at WVU, but it isn't earth-shatteringly better.

Yet, they think jerking around coaching staffs is cool:

GBW Will Campbell vs. Marcus Hall thread

"Will Campbell = suspense, uncertainty. he really played people and made a lot of us think he might have gone elsewhere. announced on the big stage.

Marcus Hall = no suspense. easy to predict. copycat of Campbell w/o the excitement. not a big stage to announce on.

Campbell = Winner"
