2009 TSUN arguments, shenanigans (not football)

Best comparsion would be Michigan Football and Kentucky Basketball. Both had older coaches who were very successful during the beginning of their careers, yet tailored off towards the end of their careers. Fans from both fanbases said they were not winning enough games for as much talent as they had. Both programs brought in young coaches to change the "culture". In Kentucky's case Billy Gillespie never fully understood what it meant to be the coach at Kentucky and im afraid Rich is on his way to suffering the same fate as Gillespie.

:lol:

considering Indiana's whole recruiting class took off elsewhere and crean had to grab a bunch of random last minute recruits and JUCOs
Yeah, I called them on the lunacy of that comparison (I mean seriously, why not just compare it to SMU?), yet they continue to argue it. Fucking morons.

I don't think it's that Gillispie and RR don't understand what it means to be the coach at their respective institutions. I just think they're not very good coaches and they are in way over their heads. Gillispie was, and RR is being, exposed when they begin to face decent talent.

Keep Rich Rod away from the Excalibur restaurant then.

Sweet baby Jesus, tell me this last part is true! :rofl::rofl:

Has anybody else seen/heard this? :slappy:

I don't know about that particular story, but BigHouseFootball has to be my favorite poster on any scUM board. So much doom and gloom, some much cynical lamentation, so many dire predictions... and the awesome thing is, he's right! :biggrin:

Students say Michigan AD shoved them at stadium - College Football - Rivals.com

Michigan AD pushed, grabbed students (AP)

Michigan athletic director Bill Martin pushed a student and grabbed the wind breaker of another student during two football games, according to a department of public safety report. Michigan student Jackie Turner says she told Martin he needed a pass to enter the regents guest area of the press box Sept.

Here's yet another punchline.

scUM = laughing stock

Martin, you incompetent twat. If you are going to push around students, at least do it at the top of a staircase. :shake:

On the positive side when RR is shown the door they probably will have a similar experience to the Sampson fiasco. :)
