2009 tOSU QB discussion (official thread)

How quickly will Guiton go to WR now?

I think the need at QB is much greater for 2009 than it is at WR. And I'd like to see what he's capable of at QB with a year in the system, before wondering whether he'll be shifted to a position that would have 9 guys ahead of him on the depth chart.

2009 Scholarship QBs

Pryor
Bauserman
Guiton

Walk-ons: Oltorik (played baseball in the spring), Siems

2009 Scholarship WRs

Small
Sanzenbacher
Posey
Thomas
Washington
Schwartz
Carter
Fields
Jackson

Walk-ons: Cech, Crawford, Hummel, Ranieri, Roark, Schuck, Springer

Camp preview: QBs and RBs

Quarterbacks/running backs

SPOTS LOCKED UP (1): Terrelle Pryor at quarterback

BACKUPS AND OTHERS:

QB: If Pryor is a straight royal flush poker hand to be the starter, then Joe Bauserman is holding four of a kind to be his backup. Bauserman has shown through two spring practices now that he has a fine arm, plus mobility. He?ll get plenty of action against the likes of Navy, Toledo, New Mexico State, Indiana, Michigan. . . .(whoops, did I say Michigan? My bad.) The battle for No. 3 is between the only other scholarship player on the roster ? Kenny Guiton ? and walk-ons Ross Oltorik and Justin Siems.
