2009 NFL Draft (Mocks, Evaluation, etc.)

I thought JL was pretty good in coverage as well.

You don't think the Bengals have any glaring weaknesses? I think they pretty much need everything except CB, QB, and WR.

The glaring weakness that has stuck out, to me, since I became a Bengals fan in the cursed year of 1986, is Mike Brown.

The Bengals O-line isn't much to write home about, but it's hard to look good when you're blocking for backs like Cedric Benson and Chris Sherry.

Good OL > good RB

You can live with average RBs and a good offensive line. Not sure if you can live with a bad OL and a good RB. LT has had a down year because his offensive line isn't doing much for him. Same with Larry Johnson. He hasn't been good since the KC o-line was destroyed.

Look at the Seahawks with Shaun Alexander when he had his great season. They had an unbelievable offensive line. When that line stopped blocking, Alexander stopped doing well.

It starts with the OL.. they don't have a good one.

The offensive line didn't cause Chris Perry's fourth quarter fumbles. (EDITED: Needed to add an 's' to fumble. It became common.)

Additionally, I haven't missed a Bengals' snap this year, and the line hasn't done anything for Cedric Benson either.

Holes are holes, and the Bengals aren't creating them for their backs.

Looking at the first two mock drafts, we can at least confirm one thing. Experts don't know shit.

Two "experts" so very different from each other on so many things.

Lets face it, no one knows what's going to happen in April

Facts

But it's fun predicting and criticizing others for what they think will happen.
