We'll use the same draft "rules" as last year. BCS conferences (ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac 10 & SEC) and Notre Dame only and you have 24 hours to make your pick after the person infront of you does. If anyone knows a period of time where they're not going to be available, let me know and we'll figure something out. I know myself and GatorFan aren't going to be available at all from June 13th-20th, so we can either start it before then and suspend it on the 13th or start it after the 20th. We didn't start until late July last year, so we could easily start now and then suspend it for a week. What's everyone think?

doesnt really matter to me

except im leaving for Chicago on the 25th so that will be a couple of days of diversion for me, I can just leave you a preranked list of players though

Confused as hell here since we are changing over to CBS SportsLine. I assume that means I should go over there and create a username and password on that site or do I have to be under fantasy football:huh:

I also have a suggestion regarding weekends. I know that most guys are out doing other things much of the weekend but let's say that it happens to be one person's pick, such as jwinslow:) , and that guy wants to make his pick. I guess my question is why not let him do that, make a pick, but the person following them does not have to make a pick until the clock runs out on the weekend. Just a thought.

This worked well for our mock nfl draft. The countdown clock is suspended at like 5 PM friday through Monday morning, but teams can still make selections in the meantime.

That's what I was going to suggest. LitlBuck, no point in creating anything on cbs yet because their league's aren't available yet.

Since I didn't get many replies about when people want to start the draft, we'll get the ball rolling when I get back on the 20th

Getting ready to do that. I'm not sure what time I'll be home on the 20th, but whoever has the first pick can kick it off whenever they want. I'll be sending out PMs now.

Yoowho everyone, I thought we were not going to do the draft on the weekends and I do believe that the 20th is a Saturday so I do not think if teacher scratch that Gator, or the person following him, is not going to be around on Saturday he should not be held to the 24-hour standard which we have set and he should be allowed to draft on Monday, June 22 without being punished.

I still do not know where to set up my username and password.

I also would like to know if we are great to have a "snake" draft which we had last year where the orders keep reversing themselves every round.

Upon further review, I guess Gator can make his pick now because I don't think it is going to be any surprise:wink2:

I forgot about the weekend deal :2004:. That's correct, Gator does not have to make his selection until the 22nd, however if he decides he wants to make it Saturday, by all means go ahead.

Yes we are doing a snake draft like last year.

CBS hasn't unlocked their leagues yet, so no need to worry about a username or password yet. Once I get an email stating that they're open, I'll let you guys know and we'll have everyone sign up on CBS.
