In.

I was 1 of the voters that didnt fill out a ballot the last couple weeks. I would like another chance to show that I can be counted on for the full season....

I'm in, and I also promise to be more deligent about finishing out the season this year (I think I was involved last year [??]).

It wasn't the 25 team format that made me lose interest at the end of last year though, it was a certain home game that made me not want to think about college football for several weeks.

So really, it was not my fault. When we go undefeated this year I will gladly fill out a poll every single week (and will try to anyways even if we don't).

Suggestion: I don't when the BP Poll was started last year, but would there be any value to starting after 4-6 weeks into the season?

That's a gripe that is often touted regarding the pre-season and first few weeks of polls.

It's an often-heard gripe, which is mostly baseless. This link has a comparison between the AP poll after week 4 for the 2005-08 seasons, and the Harris poll from the same week (its first of each year). It also shows the final AP and how the final Harris poll compares to it.

There are no differences in the top-4 between the two final polls for all 4 years. For the initial Harris poll, there's a flip between AP spots 2-3 in 2 years, a flip between AP spots 4-5 another year, and the same top-6 in 2007.

AP-vs-Harris
