Nelson finished 2009 with 53 receptions, 557 yards and three touchdowns. He had one of the fastest 40 times for a tight end at the combine with a 4.56 seconds, He followed that up with a 33" vertical. At 6'4" 250 we see him fitting in very well as a target on short routes or a deep threat from the TE position. We are also pleased with his blocking ability and believe he will contribute sooner rather than later.

The Colts are thrilled to pick up Kelly in the fifth round. At the combine, Kelly checked in at 6'5" 204 and ran a 4.49 40. As a junior at Clemson, Kelly caught 88 balls for 1081 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Kelly should have come out after his junior year. When he was a senior, his QB Cullen Harper, his coach Terry Bowden, and the entire Clemson offense all went in the dumper. Kelly would have gone several round higher last year.

With 37 year old Marvin Harrison gone Kelly may see time as a rookie
