Yeah, really. If there was only 1 second to play, it would have made sense, but not at 4.7.

I dunno. With 4.7 seconds left and up 2, missing the free throw is not an option. Not an option at all. It would be the worst thing you could do.

He was also saying how being up 2 guaranteed Wisconsin at least a tie. Is he senile? The way Duke had been throwing up 3s, a miss there and Duke is very likely to push it up and try for a three. You go for the win on the road. Glad he wasn't coaching the badgers today.

I like Musberger for football just because he is familiar and his voice is connected to a lot of great Buckeye memories for me. But I don't like him for basketball at all.

I would have been screaming bloody murder had Duke won because of the heinous errors down the stretch by the referees. There were two violations ignored on that possession. The same Duke player shot the ball in the air and caught it for traveling. Then subsequently a Duke player tapped the ball in right over the rim for what should have been goaltending.

I'm glad I don't have to make "excuses" for a complete collapse.

Bobby Knight is a moron in addition to being an a-hole, and Bucky were the heroes! 9th in the conference? Really?

I'm glad Wisconsin could come through for the conference and finally propel the 11 over the hump. The streak was embarrassing a while ago. Now the 11 needs to start their own for redemption.

Edit: Oh, and props on your win also. Even Turner has developed into a beast. It makes it sting even more that UW finished second for his services (I don't know if anyone remembers but I predicted on here he would actually be a Badger at the time, so it was a pretty close race.
