The '08 depth has the following returning
Robo
Hartline
Small
Satzenbacher
T-wash
D. Torrence
stir in...
Posey
Stoneburner
Lamar Thomas
that depth can't be touched by the '02 squad

I agree and it will be interesting to see just how this all turns out after this season. One of us just might remember this thread and hack it back up again for consideration.DaddyBigBucks;1204716; said:As of now, yes...
But right now, we have to judge based on 2007 results. If somebody steps us and surprises us big-time this year, then it is possible for the '08 guys to step up to the '07 level. But until I see the Hartline's reported improvement myself, and until I see which of the young guys steps up (and to what level); I'm witholding judgement.

Starters only I give the edge to 2002 - but overall it is 2008 by a whisker.

Drew Carter produced very little in '02 (10/147 0td)...but agreed without injuries he is afield stretching wr
Gamble had 0 TD catch in '02? (more sizzle than steak as a WR 31/499 0td )...hartline has produced far more than Gamble
and Vance produced little as well in '02 13/178 3 td
part of lack of production due to the QB not talent, but i don't think it is fair to say the '08 guys haven't proven anything, when the top 4 have generated an equal amount of productivity, and we have much more depth to speak of
