HAHAHAHA Its hard to obsess when the thing you are obsessing absolutly sucks ass...I don't even follow their recruiting much. I already knew this was gonna happen to them. I'm sitting back laughing my ass off. All I can do is smile. Its like your enemy allowing you to do whatever you want when you want...this shit is beautiful.

Michigan tailback McGuffie granted release by Michigan


Michigan tailback Sam McGuffie has decided to transfer.
McGuffie was given his release by coach Roch Rodriguez, thewolverine.com reported Friday.
McGuffie, a freshman from Texas, has been reported to be homesick and is expected to enroll in a school closer to home. If he goes to a Division I school he will have to sit out a year.
"I've talked to Sam before the [Thanksgiving] break and after the break," Rodriguez told The Detroit News last week. "We have several concerns. Sam has concerns at home, and we have concerns because he's had multiple concussions, three of them, so there's a lot of concerns there.
"I don't want to talk anything medically, because I'm not qualified, but it is something that the trainers and I have talked about and are concerned about. That's for his future, wherever he may be."

I've gained a respect for McGuffie and wish him well in his future. The kid committed to a program that was swept from under his feet...yet he honored that commitment. Then I read a few public interviews about how humble and quiet this kid is--completely different from the YouTube persona that we all knew and the one he hates. Recruitniks always have high and unrealistic expectations/hopes for true freshman and this kid proved why. He took a beating this season and still stuck it out. Those guts may have cost him a career.

Michigan player or not, Sam McGuffie has my respect.

UM verbal Pearlie Graves, DT, is opening up his recruitment. Considering UM, Oklahoma, TxTech. Likes the b10 but there is more out there, RR recruiting the hardest, saying he could start next year.
