I notice that every time a UM player transfers or decommits the fan mantra is that it makes room for another quality recruit.

Their last three commits are a two star safety, three star kicker and one star (not yet rated) DE. How many more of these do they need room for?

Roster limit is 85.....so.... I'd say they need, if I may quote Clubber Lang, "Lotta mo'"

And here is another excellent point the UM fans are making.

The reason they are suffering so badly this season is attrition. Particularly in the class of 2005 - this years 4th year seniors.

Only 12 members of that class remain. Is that in itself not enough to justify the worst record in UM football history?

Kinda reminds me of our own class of 2003. By the time 2006 rolled around we had 5 of those guys still with the team. It was all we could handle to stumble into the National Championship game.

But I don't want to sound like I am discounting their arguments.

I am listening when my UM friends tell me that they will be "back" in just a couple of years.

After all, in Carr's last 5 seasons he only went to three Rose Bowls. And in his last two seasons he only won 20 games.

Uh, this is where I get confused. Where exactly is it that they are coming back from if it isn't where RR has taken them?
