However Rich does continue to rewrite the record books. Lets see, so far we have seen the first loss to a MAC team ever. Worst home record in years. The worst start since 1967. I'll say that again, worst start since 1967. First year without a bowl game in 33 years. First losing record in 41 years. First time we will not have a 1,000 yard receiver in forever. Don't worry, there are still plenty of other records Rich will break this year.

How could he forget Juice Williams breaking the Outhouse all-purpose yardage record (500+?), followed by Moore breaking the Outhouse receptions record (20?)

Also, does anyone know-has Michigan ever lost to Notre Dame, Michigan State, and Ohio State all in the same year?

1987 was the only time this happened. They finished 8-4, the other loss was to Indiana. They beat Alabama in the Hall of Fame Bowl.

Juice's Pighouse record was 431 yards of offense.

No 1-rated safety Craig Loston decommits from Clemson

Under Armour All-American Craig Loston has dropped the Tigers after the firing of former head coach Tommy Bowden, ESPN's JC Shurburtt reports.
Loston's new top three are LSU, Texas and Oregon.
Tigers' class unraveling, Devonte Holloman no longer onboard

Under Armour All-American safety Devonte Holloman has decommitted from Clemson, according to ESPN's JC Shurburtt.
The highly-coveted senior is now seriously considering South Carolina, North Carolina, LSU and Michigan.
UM fans hoping desperately that these former recruits have a change of attitude after fleeing the problems at Clemson.

As this is the recruiting thread, I feel it necessary to note that a "ray of light has come down from the heavens" and maybe given the Meatchicken new hope.

Scout.com: Tajh Boyd Profile

Former commit to WVU. Lists interest in Michigan. #4 QB in the nation. 5*

I don't see TSUN landing Boyd. But, it will be interesting to see how some scUM fans react to this.

You'll get the usual fans who want to offer him, but FWIW Fred Jackson saw both Boyd and Forcier throwing at the Junior All Army Combine (or whatever it's called) and afterwards they offered Forcier before Boyd..

And for the safeties up top, I know RR's going to go after them 110% and he can try and pull off some magical BS, but my money's on Loston to LSU (with his cousin Shepard) and no clue for Holloman.

And deep down, most OSU fan-atics hopes Michigan gets 'em.....a strong adversary makes for good wins. We hope you win out each year, except for the 'Big One', commonly called 'The Game' (as I'm sure ALL Michiganders do). Osu's experiment (hiring a I-AA coach - Tressel), has appeared to pay off, and from what I read on this site, Michigan's experiment (hiring a WVU coach - Rodriguez) is not. The jury is still deliberating, but it appears that they are walking back in to the courtroom........

I cannot believe that with all the great athletes Michigan has (seriously) that they couldn't beat a Toledo. In the shots I saw, the Michigan guys were taller, heavier, and stronger lookng than ANY of the Toledo players I saw. It just makes one wonder whether they've given up. Hope not, but who knows, maybe Boren was right.....

Sorry, I don't feel that way, I don't care if Michigan wins or loses, I heard enough from their fans over the 13 years that Cooper was our coach that they could go 0-12 and I would laugh every week. This idea that they need to be great or whatever is what we call sympathy for the few tsun fans we have here, but let's address a little reality, do you think any of them felt for us when we lost in the past?

This is the same group of fans who refer to our loss to LSU as being worse for the Big10 image than their loss to App State. The same group that reminds us that they are the "winningest program in college football history" let that arrogance bite them in the ass.

There's enough room in the Big10 for other teams to be good, Fuck Michigan.

Pure rumor at this point...

Scout.com: RRod to Clemson
RRod to Clemson

He hasn't signed his contract at Michigan yet and the efforts are underway. There is money in SC to get him there. Ask anyone closely associated with RR and they will tell you that his Clemson friends are always around. They are in investments together and talk on a regular basis. Heck, they even came to MAC events while RR was at WVU. DOn't be shocked if this happens.
As of what I heard today, it is more likely to happen than not. Time will tell.
It's worth noting that Eerhole is not really on either end of the spectrum (credible nor pretender), but somewhere in the murky middle. Iffy probably describes him best from what I remember.

There is not a more popular hire out there than Rod fro the Clemson gig.

But Will Muschamp is the leader in the clubhouse
Put this here because it's really not deserving of it's own thread at this point. Moreso passing along some explosive message board fodder from the UM/WVU boards, we'll see if it actually proves to be anything more than neatly dressed garbage.

While the step down would be very large in terms of programs, he would likely fit in better and be much closer to winning the conference at Clemson.
