2008 tOSU Spring Game (4/19) & Practice Discussion

I am still looking for help on these questions. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am planning to attend the spring game for the first time and I have some questions. Can someone please help me with these?

1. Is it safe to buy the tickets at the stadium gate just before the game? Is there a chance that the tickets may not be available? The reason I am hesitating to buy the tickets in advance is that I am not sure how many will attend the game with me. I am expecting that 4 of my friends would join me as well.

3. What is the nearest parking lot for cars with no OSU parking permit and how much does it cost for the parking?

1. Yes. Bring cash...that's the only way you can buy them at the stadium. Be prepared to stand in line. There is a chance that it will sell out, but it's never happened before, and I don't believe it will this year either.

3. (three?) I don't know about closest, but we've always just parked at the baseball stadium and walked. If you're not planning on going to the lax game, then what's closest will be the least of your worries.

I asked this question a couple pages back and got no response..

Anyone know when/where to get the players' signatures?

A couple years back, I got there early, about 9 AM and was on the East side of the shoe when all the players and coaches arrived. There were about 50-100 kids and parents there total. All of the players and coaches were very gracious with photos and autographs. It was almost too good to be true, but probably worth a try.

They also sign at the SE gate after the game, but the crowd at that point is ridiculous. Better to get there early, grab a bench and wait for them to come strolling in.

Do they sell scarlet and grey rain ponchos at Andersons? Better stop there tomorrow to stock up. See you at the game. Go Bucks.
I wish they would not let people in with the typical maize & blue ones :sick1: Then again, the stadium entrances are lined with maize coats.

plus, rain can really dampen the experience for incoming recruits. Check out the TSUN thread for reports on their recruiting visits during their Spring game. Sounds like a pretty terrible day.
All week it's supposed to be gorgeous, then have T-storms on sat. Hopefully that timetable gets moved back a bit.

However, it's supposed to be 64/52, so it should be a typical late spring rain in terms of temperature. Nothing like the frigid affair up at TSUN.
