Scout.com: Team Rankings Released

7/2

OSU checks in at #8 in this initial look at the team rankings.

Even though they have 11 more commits, I'm still surprised to see them rank UCLA ahead of us. We have 7 top 100 players to their 3 and our average star rating is 4.11 to their 3.43.

Same with A&M who only has an average of 2.84 and 0 top 100 commits.

That's because they go by total points. UCLA has 2731 points and Texas A&M has 1793 while we have "only" 1736. Of course, our point total will skyrocket once we get more recruits. Right now, we have 17 ships to give (8 more available), so it's clear that we'll jump way over TT and are virtually assured of also jumping UCLA.

Going by points-per-commit:

OSU: 192.89
UCLA: 130.05
TAMU: 94.37
