leaving some team the only Big-10 representative ahead 1-0 in a superregional.....but as I am not sure how gender affects the deal, I shall not comment further.:paranoid:

VaTech took both games from them Sunday to knock them out of the tournament. How sad for them.

Tigers have some talented freshmen

From TigerBait$

The strength of any baseball team depends upon the players up the middle. Three of these most crucial positions - catcher, shortstop and centerfield - for LSU are being manned by freshmen. These first-year players have been greatly responsible for the Tigers' late-season success which resulted in a national seed in the NCAA tournament.

The Gators prepare for the tournament

From GatorBait (again with the "bait")

An 0-2 showing in Birmingham at the SEC tournament dashed the Gators hopes of hosting a regional but not their NCAA tournament hopes. Florida found out its regional destination (Tallahassee) while watching the NCAA tournament selection show 12:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Twenty years ago, a young bunch of ball players from Florida shocked the world going over to Florida State winning a regional title, springing the team to its first ever trip to Omaha (College World Series).

Ooooo, Nutria, The Gators take on your second favorite team, Tulane today

:wink2:

decisions, decisions.

How do I choose?
On one hand, a conference rival, a team that is always a threat to win the conference in any sport in any given year. Someone that I struggle internally to root for.

or

The elitist "rich kid" pricks, from down the interstate, that after beating us in a Super Regional ('01) honestly thought were now equal to us and our 5 National Titles, And still bring up 1982 in football as if it is somehow relevant to anything other than Tulane fans, and also have the single most annoying cheer/chant/gay mating call west of Hotty Toddy (google Tulane +Hullabaloo if you're not farmiliar with it), and whine and complain that LSU gets all the publicity, every break, and all the fans in state (mainly because Tulane SUCKS).

TUCK FULANE!!!
