From a design standpoint, it seems like they were trying to replicate Princeton's winged helmet design with those yellow stripes up the side. It kinda makes sense in a hypothetical "that's a cool idea" kinda way, however, when the idea was actually put on the jersey it looks terrible and very WV of the North as everyone has been saying since the jersey's were first unveiled.

Damn. Too bad Mike Hart and Chad Henne graduated, because they would've been my nominees to receive the "Dingle Berry" jerseys.

I have to wonder if they embroidered " ohio state owns our ass" into the seat of the pants.
Or;
"Appy state owns our ass" into the jersey hem.
Or changed the Bo embroidery to read;
Additions include an embroidered quote from the late coach Bo Schembechler, "Those who stay will be champions," along the inside hem ( except for the class of2004-2007).

I heard they switched to ADIDAS so their motto could be "All Day I Dream About Sucking!" So I guess it makes sense.:biggrin:

no, haven't you heard? he's so much more improved now. :roll2:

With Morgan :slappy: Trent and Boo-boo Cissoko, they have the best defensive backfield in the Big Ten.

On a side note, I really think Morgan Trent's middle name should be. ":slappy:"

Post today among other things suggests the Weasels will be deploying more man-press coverage. Does anyone else just love the thought of Morgan Trent vs Brian Robiskie one on one? Isn't that a dream come true?

They had Warren on Robo and Trent on Hartline last November. (but I get the visual) :)

The quote itself is pretty ironic. Lloyd was on par with bo's frequent b10 titles, and did what bo never did, become a champion on the national stage.

Bo made that phrase famous, yet UM fans will not be content to win conf titles, struggle in major bowls and never win a NC. Though the 69 repeat so many are trying to draw parallels to this year would certainly buy him much good will.

Very commonplace in design, clever idea which does not translate to actual production very well. They get shot down all the time, either in proposals or more often on the designer's draft board. Of course, such a safeguard would require an eye for design, evidence for which I rarely see in these uniform designs.

I have never in all my years seen a S & C coach get so much hype. I mean, it's not like WVU guys are showing up at combines and workouts and setting the world on fire.

Think of it this way, who else are they going to put out front as the face of the program? The head coach who's been embroiled in a legal dispute with his former employer and chased off most of the best returning talent? The AD and administration that botched the whole coaching search and brought in a scumbag? Their returning players, Grady, Threet, and "defensive" stars? Barwis is about all they have.
