I think UM is doing fine on speed..but who is going to take care of the trenches? Even in the spread blocking remains kinda significant...Even RR can't coach hs way out of not owning the LOS.

So one decommit from another program listing you all as a favorite totally swings things? Did you all suddenly get an influx of OL & DL recruits? I confess I have been very critical of Michigan's recruiting. I have some valid points that I have brought up.
Michigan has given out around 100 offers since last fall for 2009. They have 8 commits last time I checked and only lead for 2-3 players and now lead for a decommit from ARK.
If you look at the top 25-30 propspects ACCORDING TO THE RECRUITING SERVICES BY POSITION AND OVERALL RANKINGS Michigan has a legit shot at about 5 of them and the rest are pipedreams...thats not good my friend. Heck theres more players that will commit to OSU in their top 25 prospects than Michigan...go look if you don't believe me.
Michigan has little or no depth at DE...thats has to be every concerning. Your OL has to be a concern no matter if theres a new offense at Michigan. QB has to be a concern even though you have a commitment from Newsome because it will be a battle up until signing day. There are a few talented DB's at Michigan but the lack of depth should be concerning.
If your honest with yourself you will look at the roster and be concerned.
This year Michigan had better get on their horses on the defensive side of the ball. The current talent and depth of the overall defense of Michigan isn't all that impressive. I will admit last years linebacker class may help a couple years down the road.
Michigan better stop recruiting in the south and start worrying about their home state and the midwest. Recruiting Mississippi and Maryland will only get you so far.
