I think it was Sportsbuck who said something about me. I'm on here every day, I just don't usually post.

Just a thing on TRob from me today.. Terrence Robinson is expected to announce for Michigan on Sunday. He's down to Michigan and Boston College. BC wants him as a running back, and Michigan wants him as a Slot WR/HB/occasional QB play. I'll be EXTREMELY disappointed if we didn't get him. He mirrors himself after Percy Harvin, and likes that Michigan will allow him to play a role similar to Harvin's. Body types are semi similar at 5-9 175 for Robinson and 5-11 178 for Harvin.

this is off-topic but I love how on his recruiting page Harvin is listed at 6-1 188, but two years later on his Florida page he's listed at 5-11 178. lol overblown high schools trying to interest college coaches.
Does that mean Robinson is actually 5'7", 150?

And....good christ....what does that mean for poor Cam Saddler?

Anyway, lol@Harvin. Like he was lacking for hype?

fallback option with daniels, pryor, brown, etc heading elsewhere, or product of getting qualified? Both?

Might help solidify Moore and land the hard to read Shaw

Mgoblog still playing air traffic controller from Iowa to AA?

I kid, I kid.

That was classic. I watched that train wreck for an hour on that website. It was one of the funniest most creative threads I have ever watched.

Three7, hope you hang around. BP guys, he is one of the good ones (if there is such of thing from UM).

Yeai agree with buckinf but why did Britt have such a crappy senior year compared to his junior?
Crappy Senior year is over-stating matters. Besides, I think there may be some significant confusion as to what Britt's Junior stats actually were in 2006.

Rivals shows a stunning 30 TD tally by air, plus 10 on the ground.

I think that is inflated - and Rivals tally is wrong.

The official Trotwood-Madison site shows Britt's 2006 Junior stats as 21 TD by air, 9 by ground for 30 total. The 21 passing TDs were accompanied by 14 interceptions.

Meanwhile the 2007 campaign saw Britt put up fewer TDs passing at 18, but only 6 interceptions - though with only one TD on the ground. (The bulk of the running game in '07 went through Michael Shaw. In '06 it was much more RB by committee with Peake and Britt being the dominant ground gainers.

His completion percentage improved 5 points to 59% in 2007. Britt was effectively being asked to carry the team more on his arm than in the previous year. He responded with better ball security, a lower INT to TD ratio, and improved completion percentage. Not a crappy year.

Probably less easy to uncover is the impact that exiting Seniors had on the Trotwood-Madison program in 2007. Just one salient statistic 7 players from the '06 squad went on to sign LOI's for college ball. 3 went to Eastern Michigan including WR Sawyer, do everything skill player CJ Peake went onto Louisville. They lost 3/4 of their defensive backfield to college ball at graduation. Most notable in '07 they show much less significant production in rushing going from '07 to '06.

QB/ATH Justin Feagin has committed to UM.

RR is looking for 2 qbs in this class. Will this offer take Britt's spot, with the other held for TP? Or would he take both and then hope for a 3rd?

Feagin accepted his scholly to Michigan as an ATH, because RR is holding out hope for Pryor and to keep the 'QB Slate clean' so to speak. He likes Feagin at QB, but hypothetically if we get Pryor and Britt, Feagin would move to another position to utilize his athletic ability.
