2007 NFL Draft (Projections/Mock Drafts/Evaluations/Draft)

Could that explain the Browns looking past the multifarious character (and legal) issues in Eric Wright's background to take him with the 21st pick of the 2nd round? (4th fastest 40 and a 36.5 Vertical Jump among other circus tricks).

Maybe, but Eric Wright was also good in college and a projected 1st round pick during the season.

Normally, I don't follow the nfl draft, but today...oh today! Today was something special. 22nd! Twenty-frickin'-second! There must be a god because only a sublimely powerful being who truly loves ME could produce such an unexpected event (miracle?) as happened today. Pick after pick...each one bringing a tighter, more forced smile to the golden one's grill...the second round bearing down on him...the millions disappearing into the ether with each pass...the almost just-pissed-my-pants-relief upon finally being selected. Life is good.

At this point, I hope they all get a chance on pro teams - period. And, I don't care whether or not I like those teams.
Don't get me wrong I want everyone of them to get drafted but I also have to be honest. Honestly I have a hard time being happy for Santonio Holmes and I sure as hell am not cheering him on. Now when his contract is up and he can make more money somewhere other the Pukesburg than I would love to cheer for him again. So far I consider our Buckeyes to be very lucky they have done well for themselves and have ended up on teams where I think they will fit in nicely. I hope that trend continues.

Anyone who rates Lorenzo Booker a better back than Pitt is either a bad rater of film, or a sucker for potential big play capability.....as a HUGE FSU fan, I can honestly say Booker isn't as good as Pitt......Booker is easily tackled and his speed is good but not top end. Lorenzo does have "shakes" but those same "shakes" never allow him to hit the hole in a quick enough manner....I do believe Lorenzo's potential was killed by Jeff Bowden, but at the same time, I just don't see Lorenzo making a big impact in the NFL....I do think Pitt can make an impact next year, although I believe he'll need 2-3 years in the league to get accustomed to the quickness and physicality....I think Adrien Peterson would be a great pick by the Browns and I also believe he'll be the best back in the league within 3-4 years...I will also quit the Browns if they draft Quinn
