2007 NFL Draft (Projections/Mock Drafts/Evaluations/Draft)

Booker and Jackson ahead of Pittman are two big WTF's.
But don't you agree that a lot of this is beauty in the eye of the beholder?

Booker in particular has always had huge potential written in front of each and every media piece at the beginning of a season.

Jackson going ahead of Pittman is, in my view, a more extreme example of the same. You could make the same argument for Chris Henry, is he just a flash in the pan?

Meanwhile Pittman put up solid numbers the last two years, and gave a good accounting for himself in the combine.

I feel very badly for Antonio. Though he would likely have helped himself with another season in Columbus dropping this far, behind such backs is likely worse than the worst case scenarios he heard (or read).

Why feel bad? He's made his choice. Now he has to live with it.

Definitely. I'm just very surprised to see Pittman who had a very productive career and a good combine fall below 2 big time underachievers(I'm not including Jackson since I don't know much about him). I thought GM's would value production more than they have this draft.

Just want to drop my 2 cents about the Browns draft. I LOVE the pick of JT at #3. I have also been very outspoken about not drafting Brady Quinn. I am very happy they did not take him at 3, BUT I am not ready to lynch Savage for making the trade that he did at 22 to get him. I would also be lying if I did not concede that they gave up A LOT to do it. I hate to lose a 1st Round pick at any point, but I am willing to give Brady and Savage the benefit of the doubt for now. Part of me is just glad to see that the Browns did not just stand pat and make picks. That is what they have done for years and we see what that has gotten us so far.

Aside from the fact that Pittman still hasn't gone, and I have no idea how...

It's great to see the colts with 2 buckeyes!!

Does anyone know who the colt's backup QB is?
I almost want to start dreaming that they draft TS, so he can learn under peyton...

It's Sorgi. He "chokes" under pressure, so Smith might be a good option.

Wow, can't believe Pittman didn't go today. A workhorse RB, with no injury issues, great production, no character issues... wtf is going on? Is there something the GMs know that we don't or are they just ridiculously short-sighted?
