COLUMBUS, Ohio - The 21st-ranked Buckeyes forced two Cal State Fullerton throwing errors and scored on both plays, while senior Jamee Juarez tossed an eight strikeout two-hitter Friday night to lead Ohio State to a 2-1 win over the Titans at Buckeye Field in the Columbus Regional of the 2007 NCAA Softball Championship. A Buckeye Field record crowd of 1,175 was on hand to watch Ohio State (39-16) improve to 20-0 at home this season and advance to face 13th-ranked and the regional's No. 1 seed Virginia Tech (49-14) at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Ohio State's Christina Douglas dives back to first base, beating a tag by Cal State Fullerton's Crystal Vieyra in the third inning.
Jamee Juarez pitched a two-hitter, and the Ohio State softball team scored both of its runs on errors by Cal State Fullerton (34-21) to win 2-1 last night in an NCAA regional game at Buckeye Field.
First baseman Christina Douglas scored Ohio State's first run in the third inning on a throwing error by shortstop Courtney Martinez.
