Sarunas is a good three point shooter though, until he was buried on the bench in Golden State. He would be a good, cheap pick up.
That's a good question about the MLE. I had to look it up and here is what Wiki said:
Mid-level exception
A team is allowed to sign a player to a contract equal to the average NBA salary, even if the team is over the salary cap already, or if the signing would put them over the cap. This is known as the mid-level exception, and it can be used each season, either on one player or split up between multiple players. Contracts signed under the mid-level exception can be for up to six years. The mid-level exception in 2004-05 was $4.9 million, while in 2005-06 it is $5 million under the terms of the new CBA.
So yes, they could spit it up, and I didn't know that.

What do you think his trade value would be?
guys here don't agree but i've seen a few posters mention he dosen't play to his players strength and IMO limited LB and co. on offense big time.. and poor game mangament.. wheter it be TOs or letting 30 seconds run off the clock in game 4 with the spurs. I will agree the D was amazing and i'll be willing to bite my tongue and see how he does next year i guess.
