Men's team draws from home crowd

The Ohio State men's track and field team competed in front of a home crowd Friday and Saturday for the second time this season. Despite cold wind and rain, there was an impressive turnout at the Jesse Owens Classic and the stands were full of cheering fans.
"There were a lot more people here than last year," junior Matt Comer said. "I think that it helps a lot with team performance."
Comer ran the men's 400-meter dash and finished seventh with a time of 47.71 seconds, followed closely by sophomore teammate Stephen Robinson, who finished eighth with a time of 47.79. Comer and Robinson were both members of the winning 1,600-meter relay team. The 1,600 relay was the last event of the meet.
