50 years from now, if you see his run against Notre Dame in the Fiesta or his run against Michigan this past weekend, you'll say "that was Pittman" with as much certainty and immediacy as if you were watching Byars running down the turf in one shoe. But there is little else there other than those runs, and that's why he won't get the media recognition he deserves.
I'm not trying to speak ill of Pitt, I'm just saying he doesn't have "it."
