Defense still wins Championships
Since we all like to hear how fast the recruits are, I thought I'd start up this thread. I follow all the track stuff pretty closely, so I can post updated results as they happen...

Yesterday was the unofficial indoor track state championships. It wasn't sanctioned by OHSAA, but they did it by invitation only to the top 16 performers in each event during the indoor season. Several OSU prospects (and commits) were in attendance and did very well. As should be expected, Glenville took home the team title.
Jamario and Freddie Lenix ran in the 55meter dash. Jamario got 2nd overall, running 6.47 and Freddie was just a step behind him for 3rd place in 6.51. If my calculations are correct, that works out to be a legit 4.3 40yard dash for both of them! Freddie later won the 200m dash in 22.54 seconds and then the two of them led the 4*400m relay team to a first place finish.
Brian Hartline, apparently better from his leg injury, finished 3rd in the 55m hurdles (7.60 seconds).
Younger brother, Mike Hartline finished 2nd in the high jump, clearing 6'6". Mike also ran in the hurdles, but didn't make the finals.
Glenville's Curtis Smith and Ray Fisher also placed in the meet.
