Game Thread (2004) Game Seven: Indiana - 10/23/04 (W, 4-3/1-3)

Clarity - I edited my post. There was a post before mine that is no longer in the thread. It wasn't anything you said.

Woops, my mistake again. I used the word 'savior' a few times earlier, and didn't see it in the posts leading to yours, so ran with that there.

For what it's worth, this whole conversation (not just you and me, the whole thing) was perverted back when StadiumDorm took my theme; "We're not going to be able to form concrete opinions about Smith after one game against Indiana", and turned it into "Nothing Smith does in this game can be seen as a positive in his favor because it's against Indiana." Which is absolutely not what I was saying.

I don't like having my message twisted, and then get more frustrated when I think others are assuming that twist is my true message. I think I'll go back and ding StadiumDorm now. Lol.

That sort of message perversion is exactly what leads to all kinds of misunderstandings and disagreements that aren't really disagreements. A poster like that misrepresents someone's message, next thing you know a couple people assume his representation is what someone else's theme is, and they start jumping in and arguing against something that the original poster isn't saying at all.

Anyway, the Smith/Zwick issue is a volatile one. I don't understand why it is, but I wish it wasn't. I hope he's a huge success. I also hope Zwick is And Boeckman, etc. etc. etc. Don't care which leads us back to the national title game, just want one or more to.

I think overall we're looking better than I expected even against Indiana. At least I see some emotion.

side note:
Nugent may officially become my all time favorite Buckeye when it's all said and done. His brother plays OSU soccer IIRC. Maybe he'd like to walk on next year. :)
has a fg kicker ever gone in the 1st round before? :biggrin:

definitely like the emotion. pittman puts on a little more weight and he might be a very good back.

Janikowski.

--random thoughts--

Looking good;
Smith, Pittman, Holmes (no mandatory fumber per game yet!), Ginn, Gonzalez.

Still not looking great:
OL, tackling (except for Salley, wow), pass rush.
