I got the impression that down the stretch they had absolutely no fear of Ohio State and knew they could win comfortably without putting forth too much effort.i mean if OSU is average then UCLA isn't all that much better. they can shoot, but most teams can when you get wide open looks and free possessions. if that's a top-5 team then OSU is much better than average imo
Problem is, the turnovers have been an issue for a few years now. We have just had some really sloppy teams the last 3-4 years, so that doesn't inspire much confidence it's gonna get fixed.Maybe I'm in the extreme minority but I wasn't all that disappointed with how we played. Missed some bunny shots early that could've helped. Turnovers are certainly a huge, huge issue that needs fixed...probably the difference today. But I thought the effort was there and they fought back in some pretty big moments but give UCLA credit, they hit a bunch of big shots. I personally think they are a really good team.
As for us, I'm not too dejected after that loss. Need to eliminate turnovers and this team can win some quality games. The floor is still pretty low with this team but the ceiling is a little bit higher than I thought initially.

Does this lead you to the conclusion, setting aside for a moment what Thad has done for the program, that it is time for a change? My concern is the longer the descent continues the harder it will be for someone to bring the program back within a reasonable time frame.I'm not dejected because I expected to lose. That's kind of the problem, though. We've gone from the Thad Five, to the ET Sweet 16 teams, to the NIT.
