Phil Knight must have gotten a buyout on prison suit orange dye. Florida, Louisville and parts of UC's unis had that day-glo look about them. Maybe they should have played the games in UV light.
?
Oh, and dey ugly.
Adidas always tries to mimic Nike in the gimmick uniform department and they almost always find a way to lower the low bar set by Nike. (See UM clown suits for ND football game). Those two big east schools do not belong to Nike.

Florida wears orange. The design was over saturated in addition to lousy number coloring, but the uniforms were the school colors.

Didn't realize they were Adidas. I understood the Florida orange - though the uni was tres ugly. But Louisville? They have an ultra red that I've seen in clips, but this looked orange on TV, the same shade as Florida's glow-in-the-dark unis.

Following up on Sully's post-game comments and my Richard Pryor interpretation of them, I don't want to see the train stop just yet.

Because it is Friday afternoon and I am completely bored with work, I thought I would post some of the more fun game predictions and otherwise idiotic posts from the land of fur-less felines (from here):

I predict we win fairly easily, as OSU is an easier matchup than FSU, by far.

Anyhow, OSU is property of UC in NCAA tourney.

Cincy wins...Bearcats 72 Buckeyes 63 hot shooting proves too much for OSU

This one's for all the great UC teams over the years that never had a shot at the College of Columbus because they were too cowardly to schedule a game.

Heck, the Bearcats have beaten Ohio State 2 out of the last 3 games. Why should this be any different?

More delusional Big Whatever talk. Athleticism and Size don't necessarily equate to physicality and toughness. The College of Columbus has lots of the former, but I've yet to see them play with the latter to any degree approaching what UC (and much of the Big East) plays.

A lot of Sullinger's game is premised on being able to use his size to move people out. He won't be able to do that versus Gates.

Air all Cash; but I love how he is disrespecting Kraft. That kid is so over-rated.

Sullinger is getting some cheap calls in his favor... This last one the whistle blew about 5 seconds after he was separated from Yancy.

We adjust well on the 2nd half. I'm not giving up hope yet. That said, i'll be blocking all Ohio State friends on Facebook so I don't have to read that stuff.

Wet spot on the floor....did one of the O$U players pee their pants?

SK channeling his inner Bishop, Gates channeling his inner Gates, Cash showing Craft the $$$, and Sullinger pouting. Guess in first half we just wanted to trick them into thinking they win.

Why can't we beat Craft? Why can't we beat Craft? (x100)

Why, oh why, can't we beat Craft?

I Still Believe!!!

If they miss their foul FTs, and we sink every 3 off that, we may win

I hate OSU and all their fans so very much. Truly the dregs of society.

Wisconsin played a much more talented team and almost won. Why? Partly because Bo Ryan's bible is Cincinnati Power Basketball by Ed Jucker.

Ahhhhh, sweet, sweet schadenfreude. Suck it, juggalos!!

I'm guessing it was a "Blinding Cardinal Red" concept which failed miserably.

There's a reference in one of the BP uniform threads as well. The gray one is even worse.

Luke Wynn doesn't like people stealing his research without attribution. Just ask ESPN. :wink2:

Also see the chart below #4 Kansas at that link. For people that claim Thad Matta is all recruiter and not a good gameday coach, OSU is #2 in the country, and #1 among teams still in the tourney, at getting buckets on plays drawn up coming out of time-outs.

My favorite one by far. I guess they saw what defensive grit and toughness were last night. As for Gates, the next time that guy sacks up and challenges another big man with anything other than a blindside haymaker, will be the first time. Sully has more fight and toughness in five minutes of play than Gates will ever possess.

Stupid [censored]ing juggalo.
