So you don't think 2Pac asking Biggies wife to sing on a song with him, then writing a song falsely saying that he nailed her, then taunting Biggie with it had anything to do with it? But he then told Biggie that he only did it to sell records.

I never said that there wasn't any bad blood, but before the media made up the "East Coast-West Coast War", it was just a competition between record labels to see who could sell more records.
And, it just might be me, but I think hiring a group of people to shoot and rob someone is a little bit worse than making a song.

OK then. It's Suge Knight's label...2Pac's best friend.

My point in the beginning of this was simply that 2Pac and Biggie were friends. Up until 2Pac pulled some bullshit stunt to sell records and started the rivalry...which ended with them both dead.

Yeah, but Tupac was shot before Biggie was. So he wasn't responsible for Biggie's death.

I'm pretty sure Tupac made that song when he was already with Death Row. The feud started before that.

Tupac-I have a student made poster of his head w/ "The Rose that Grew from Concrete" written around it on the wall of my classroom. Tupac had something deeper than almost all rappers-including Biggie, whom I still listen to.

i dont think they were exactly "best friends" espcially right before his death. 2pac was gonna run from death row and make his own label because suge knight kept screwing him over and owing him money. note
