Don't count me in the group of posters that believe this Clemson team isn't for real. I totally expect to lose this game unless our coaching staff does an incredible job. Clemson has us outmanned at several key spots, namely they have a better QB, maybe RB, and WRs. They also have better OT's. It may not be a huge talent gap, but they have some of the top talent in all of college football. That is just the way it is. This game will come down to execution, turnovers, penalties, and most likely coaching.
One other thought........ESPMS has been praising the Buckeyes all season as one of the best teams ever, most complete, yada, yada, and now they couldn't win the Pillsbury Bake-Off uncontested. Strange. :horse:

that's what gets me. Multiple outlets have had similiar comments...... and now they are the #2 seed and underdogs to the #3 seed in the same season....lol. Went from one of the best ever to viewed as the 3rd best in 2019.....whatever. I love the underdog role anyways. #1 has still never won it.

Neither has #3.

I know we're talking about the health of a young adult playing a brutal game.....but that's just hilarious to me juxtaposed against all the shit talking that fucking team did. THAT'S how much we kicked your asses, you tacky motherfuckers.
They were arrogant and overhyped, and their Johnny-come-lately fans now all pull for Alabama and Clemson, but they were pretty stacked.

Look, those swamphyenas have played one of the weaker schedules while we have been tested in every forsaken way for the past three weeks.

Tempered steel versus untempered steel.

An Abrams tank versus the hull of the Titanic.

Gimme the Ohio team. Send them back to the swamp. Dabo would be more comfortable there.

One of my favorite moments in the telecast of that game, is after Dorsey got knocked out and returned, There is a close-up of him in the huddle looking like Blinky the Clown trying to see straight. Not to mention how the QB who was sacked only once all season got knocked on his ass their very first play from scrimmage.
The look in Cryami's eyes after that said it all.

Some of my favorites from the SI article about the game:

Six feet stood between the Hurricanes and a chance to extend the
game to a third overtime, their winning streak to 35 games and
their reign as national champions to two years. It was
first-and-goal at the two, and Miami must have liked its chances.
In Ken Dorsey the Hurricanes had a senior quarterback with a
38-1 record. In Andre Johnson and Roscoe Parrish they had two
wideouts ticketed for the NFL. In Kellen Winslow they had a tight
end who had outplayed everyone else on the field. On top of all
that, they had an offensive line touted as among the finest in
the land.
But the Hurricanes also had this small problem. "Their
offensive line was overrated," said Ohio State linebacker Matt
Wilhelm.

"If we can get a body on a body, the ball will get through the
line," said Romberg after the meeting, "but if people are
tentative and second-guess, those guys will wipe right over the
top of us."

And so it came to pass. It wasn't as if the Hurricanes didn't
know what was coming. They were simply powerless to stop it.

Smith sacked Dorsey on Miami's first play from scrimmage. The
Buckeyes got him three more times and knocked him down on 10
other occasions.

After the game, Dorsey looked like he had been pantsed at the prom.
