Herbie added to his strong legacy by playing a medley of Savage hits by Chase immediately after the release, all while saying he wasn't impacting the game very much.

Trevor either finished or approached halftime completing 50% of his passes for less than 100 yds. He never fixed that completion percentage but 3 enormous dumpoffs to Etienne shot that yardage total up

They more than held their own. They held Clemson to 15 points without the targeting and punter calls. Even with those 29 is quite good, especially since the OSU offense died when JK left.
I hadn't watched Clemson all year. I kinda got a chuckle out of the Trevor Lawrence "pretty boy" / "fabio" chatter.

But, in all fairness, after watching him and seeing the pressure we put on him and his line, I can honestly say that that guy's one tough SOB.

Man... after watching him and seeing the pressure we put on him and his line, I can honestly say that that guy's one tough SOB.

He normally looks way better than he did last night. He can make all of the throws. Last night, his all world wide outs had a hell of a time getting separation and his sackless leading Oline had it's pocket collapsed all night long. Trevor looked as bad as I have ever seen him, but that had a great deal to do with our DB and DL play thanks to Halfey and LJ Sr.

Good or bad, he took a beating and managed to somehow do his part to put a beating on us with a couple of gashing runs.

Our D this year has managed to rattle and knock out a bunch of opposing QB. TL had a lot more fight in him than I thought.

Chase Young was almost non existent yesterday. We needed "the best player in the country" to play like it and he did not

Disagree. He didn't take over as was needed, but was frustratingly close and disrupting their gameplan from the first series. I get that he hasn't gotten another sack, and there are others that would know better, but I think he's still been a force. Teams just sold out to stop him and Clemson got away with it.

Hope he's doing ok, but yeah, it's no coincidence that OSU went into a shell for much of the 3rd after the twisted ankle. Felt like it got glossed over with all the targeting talk. Another fucking bad break. OSU was simply shredding them with him healthy. I think Teague is a potential star RB, but the running game this year isn't built for him and it showed.

Told my friend this morning that even had OSU won, they'd have an extremely hard time keeping up with LSU with their star backfield banged up so much. Would've loved to find out, but beating these teams left-handed is rarely done.

We started at noon. 21 in 13 hours isn't that hard to do. IF you are motivated:beer:

For spring break one year we did a beer for every pound you weighed between last final and Sunday before school starting.

I was 175 at the time. There were a couple of guys where 200+.

BTW, if you gained weight you had to make up the difference on Sunday.

17-20 beers a day for 10 days straight was rough. I would struggle to do a single day at this point.

Hats off, man.

Its certainly nothing to be proud of, that's for sure.

So what are we going to do....take our ball and go home?

Of course not, nor should we. We've gotten MORE THAN OUR SHARE of good breaks on close officiating calls over the years. Hell, it's one of the things we are famously known for. Ask any Miami fan about the PI, or any Michigan fan about the spot. This is just the way it goes sometimes. Sometimes you get the call, sometimes you don't.

Us whining about it is NOT a good look.

And hell I'm going to enjoy watching LSU beat the snot out of Clemson anyways....

Umm. Miami committed holding AND pass interference on that call... After getting away with murder the entire game.

And the spot against TTUN was correct. The 15 was the line to make, and he made it.

All of college football needs to pay some lower schools to hire some clemson coaches. Dabo's caching stability is incredible and we have seen with so many coaches just cause their first staff is good doesn't mean they can replace them with elite coaches. Dabo has barely had to deal with that vs elite other coaches.

It's easy to keep your elite assistant coaches when you pay them head coach money. Venables makes $2 million+. You think Hafley would have bailed to BC if he was making the same amount at Ohio State as he will make at BC?
