This team was awesome to watch. It seems the current sentiment on ESPiN is that the Buckeyes were so good they could play with their B game and still have the lead against an incredible Clemson team. We at least are getting the respect we deserve. It is almost like we just earned our first good loss even though it wasn't to an SEC team? If that is possible?

I have said many times, I thought Bret Venables was the best DC in the college football. Well Day out coached the piss out of him. And Hafley came to the game tonight with a better plan and better prepared players than Venables' Clemson D too. We are going to miss Hafley badly I am afraid and thank God we have Day.

Doesn't matter, when SEC playoff hopes are on the line, they will revert back to their normal garbage.

When we had the ball with 4 mins left and JK went outside and was going to be 1 on 1 for a trip to the end zone up 2 and was shoe string tackled that one hurt. Could have maybe put it away there or at least had 4 more downs.
There was just so many chances to put this game away... it feels like we have been in the off season for 4 months already. Damn it's going to be a long off season

Can you still go and hang? Would be fun. Just gotta sell the tickets.

No no and no.

We were going to stay in a double shotgun house and I cannot imagine how it would feel to find out the neighbors were Clemson fans. I've been there before and pretty much the only reason we were going was to do all the fun NC stuff like Media Day and tailgating.

I appreciate your optimism but after reading the shit LSU fans posted about us over the past 2 weeks and dealing with these asswipes, I can't imagine how it would be in person. If I was a casual football fan then it would be an option. But I just can't. It would be too painful as weird as it sounds.

The points will go back into our Southwest airlines account and the $150 (total) will be held on there for us to use to go somewhere else.... but I was really hoping to go to this esp after we had so much fun at the Rose bowl. We never put down a deposit on the house. It just randomly happened I started talking to a host of one of those places and he was going to give us a great deal.

In the end we didn't lose money... just the time of planning the trip. But, we knew it was an option.

I already cancelled the airfare. Hopefully we can go somewhere else soon.

Sooooooooooo... that one stung a little huh? Seriously though it sucks that we lost, and it's salt in the wound that the refs literally bumped up our difficulty setting, add in that Day coached a little tight for the first time all year... and, I don't think that Clemson even believes that they were the better team. With all that said still a hell of a season, I had me a miniature pitty party but as with anything once it ends life goes on and I still love this team and Go Bucks! get em next season.

Yeah no idea why Olave quit on the route

I think he didn't know the ball was in the air. There was a shot from behind the line that you could tell that Olave probably couldn't see where Fields was. He was breaking his route thinking that Fields was going to move out of the pocket to the left. I think he slips and falls because he breaks to the left then sees the ball is in the air going to the right.

Impact? Yes, absolutely. Did THE REFS beat us? Nope. But, again, don’t put yourself in the position to let that impact the game....
Shaun Wade made an excellent football play, a third-down sack that forced a punt. The refs erroneously called targeting, giving Clemson an undeserved first down and an eventual touchdown.

Jeffrey Okudah made an excellent football play, forcing a fumble that was scooped and scored by Jordan Fuller. The refs erroneously called the pass incomplete, taking a touchdown away from Ohio State.

What could Ohio State have done differently to avoid those positions that the refs put them in?

What could Ohio State have done differently to overcome the 14-point swing that the refs gave to Clemson?

Please explain these things to me, because I am having a very difficult time understanding the difference between the refs "impacting the game" and the refs "beating us". Because to me, when the refs impact the game that much, they certainly can - and in this case actually did - beat us.
