'19 OH PG Jeremiah Francis (North Carolina, transfer to New Mexico)

Francis will be a Buckeye, that I'm about sure of. I think Holtmann give us a good shot now with Jordan Mitchell. Holtmann will have plenty of time with this class so it might be his first Top 10 one at OSU if he can grab a few other top prospects from Ohio/Indiana or the Midwest in general.

Francis got offered by UNC last night and Jerry Meyer at 247 already CB'd him to UNC. I heard that while Roy Williams was scouting Sterling Manley, he fell in love with Jeremiah.

Holtmann is going to have to stick this one right up ole Roy's you know what.

Roy Williams is one of the worst people in this world. Ole Roy was part of the 30 year or more academic fraud at UNC that is still under review by the NCAA. They cheat and get away with it. Disgusting bunch over there.

I really like the Buckeyes chances with Francis. To be a part of the resurgence of a major program, in your hometown and your father a part of it's history, is huge. That along with the improvements I feel this team will make this year, will be a lot of momentum towards the Bucks. Hometown hero is a lot to pass up on.
i agree. i think the greatest threat to ohio state pulling francis is, say, signing ayala this year and then weaver/muhammad/x next year. fortunately, the possible competitors for playing time at the point are also suited for playing off the ball, especially ayala and muhammad. and it's not as though a top team like unc won't present the same obstacles for playing time.

on the other hand, how optimistic can we really be when a program like unc offers?
