I have a feeling we pull this one out, but don't underestimate the revenge factor after the shellacking we handed them last season.

Michigan was humbled in its last game as it tried to earn a critical victory against Big Ten leader Iowa. The No. 22 Wolverines look to get back on track when they take on 19th-ranked Ohio State on Thursday night in a key matchup in the crowded conference race.
Michigan (16-4, 6-3) has made significant strides since last season, when it finished 13-18 and 4-12 in the Big Ten, but the Wolverines suffered a 94-66 blowout at the hands of the then-No. 23 Hawkeyes on Saturday. With a chance to pull closer to first place, the Wolverines shot 32 percent in the second half and 41.5 for the game. Michigan came in as the conference's best shooting team at 47.9 percent.
"I was disappointed in a lot of things about our team," Michigan coach Tommy Amaker said. "As I've said before, a lot of things in this game become contagious, and it certainly was that way for Iowa."
The loss snapped Michigan's five-game winning streak, and the 28-point defeat was its most lopsided of the season. The Wolverines were 6-of-22 from 3-point range, made only 16 of 28 free throws and allowed the Hawkeyes to shoot 65 percent from the field.
Iowa also shot a stunning 68.4 percent (13-of-19) from 3-point range.
"We did a lot of things to help them find (their shooting stroke), but you have to give them credit," Amaker said of Iowa. "They certainly blew the game open at the end of the first half, got some momentum and got the lead going into halftime."
Daniel Horton scored a game-high 19 points for Michigan.
The Wolverines will look to put the ugly loss behind them when they take on the Buckeyes (16-3, 5-3), winners of two in a row and four of five. Ohio State is coming off a 67-53 victory over Minnesota on Saturday.
The Buckeyes have benefited from a return to form for senior guard Je'Kel Foster, who has regained his shooting touch in the last two games. Foster scored a season-high 25 points on 8-of-10 shooting, including 7-of-8 from 3-point range, against the Gophers.
Foster shot 13-for-42 from the field and 8-for-29 from 3-point range during a four-game stretch in January, during which he averaged just 9.5 points. He began to bounce back Jan. 30, when he was 7-for-10 from the floor and had 18 points in Ohio State's 95-53 victory over Florida A&M.
"It feels real good to get back my stroke," Foster said. "The basket's still 10 feet tall. I just tried to take my time and knock my shots down."
Terence Dials also had a strong game for Ohio State on Saturday with 15 points, nine rebounds and two blocks. He's averaging 14.2 points per game.
The Buckeyes have also taken a step up this season after going 20-12, but just 8-8, in the Big Ten in 2004-05. Ohio State returned to the Top 25 this season for the first time since March 2002.
"We're happy with the way things are going," forward J.J. Sullinger said. "You can look at our three losses and can say that it shouldn't be that way. But there's a lot of basketball left, and we have yet to play our best basketball."
Michigan is again expected to be without senior guard Lester Abram, who has missed three of the last four games with an ankle injury suffered Jan.
21. Abram, averaging 11.5 points in 15 games this season, could be replaced in the lineup again by Rod Coleman, who shot 1-of-11 from the field and finished with three points against Iowa.
The Wolverines may be looking for some revenge after being blown out 72-46 in their last meeting with the Buckeyes on Feb. 5, 2005 at Columbus. Michigan committed a season-high 29 turnovers as Ohio State posted its most lopsided win over its conference rival in 37 years. Ohio State, though, has dropped three of the last four meetings. The Buckeyes lead the series 83-70.
