National perception does not look at that though...
exactly. To the rest of the country this win is very impressive. In football, that doesn't matter too much. You're supposed to win them all. In basketball, you impress people and that helps your seed for the tourny, which is all that really matters.

If OSU was a 5 seed, this win moved them to a 4. Keep winning and OSU could move up to a 3 seed. Taking a look at any bracket will tell you jumping from a 5 to a 4 isn't that important....but jumping from a 4 to a 3 is.

Yeah I agree with you, but I think we have our fair share of good wins this year.

@ scUM, @ISU, @St. Joe's, Wisky, Ill., LSU.

I think a win on Wednesday would go a long way for our team.
i agree 100%, nice for the resume.

my point is that its a big win, but it seems some are blowing it out of proportion. another game weds, and as i always say, every game in the b10 is a big game.

So you switchin' teams yet.:wink2:

And about jumping form the 4 to the 3 it kind of depends b/c if you are the first number 4 you should be in the bracket with the worst one seed. Instead of the last number 3 you have the worst number 2 and the top #1.

I know they don't always do it perfect, but seeding depends a lot on you draw in your bracket and where you have to play.
