LITTLE ROCK - An Arkansas couple had a baby daughter Thursday ? their 17th child and seventh girl ? and the pair say they're still not ready to give it a rest.
Jennifer Danielle was born at 10:01 a.m. at a hospital in Rogers, Arkansas, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar said in an interview.
"We'd love to have more," Michelle said, referring to baby girls. "We love the ruffles and lace."

Just a couple of selfish, irresponsible religious freaks.

"We are just so grateful to God for another gift from him," said Jim Bob Duggar, a former state representative.

Um, no dipshit. 350,000 babies are born every day. Having one isn't unusual and they aren't gifts from God. If you haven't figured out where they come from yet you're as stupid as your wife is ugly.

Well... along the same lines... I've always found it to be a bit troubling when people are worried about future generations (and that sort of thing) and then they out produce themselves.... I mean... each one of those little buggers is a waste producing, resource consuming environmental hazard... so... the best way to leave the earth as you found it is to replace yourself... (ie. you and your "partner" have 2 kids) and shut it down... I mean... 3 is fine... because presumably someone will have less... and.. what's the average, 2.6 or something... not terrible... but... 17? I have a feeling that dude thinks he can get Arkansas more US representatives in 2 generations if they try hard enough...

Oh... yeah... that's what we need.... More Arkansans.

I find it more interesting that MSNBC felt that this was newsworthy enough to not only report it but to have an interview with them. Having babies isn't news unless it's some kind of medical oddity. Having lots of babies isn't an oddity, they just hump like bunnies.
