At one point, and maybe still today, we were the offer he's wanted. This is where it was perceived that he wanted to be. However OSU didn't offer him until the other week, and meanwhile a perennial borderline blue blood program in Louisville offered last year. My opinion is that OSU can win out, but you never know if Louisville's pitch could sway him. As "the Dean" would say, I think it's probably a good chance he'll commit to OSU, but I wouldn't say that he couldn't commit to Louisville too.

From what little I know of it, it sounds like he would have to take some summer classes to be able to have enough core credits to qualify for admittance in the Fall.

He has a good ACT score but not enough core credits at present. Why it may be up in the air is that he may need both credits AND better grades ( depending on past core grades ). So it isn't a slam dunk that just taking courses will do the trick. It may be late summer before they can PROJECT his clearinghouse status, in-other-words, and know if he can re-classify to 2016 or not. The good ACT score makes it possible, but it still will be undetermined for months - from the rumors I've read.

I want to add him to the roster BAD. We need a 4th guard and he could help at 1 and 2 - maybe letting Lyle play more 2 where he seems a bit more comfortable at times.
