#15 Oral Roberts vs #2 tOSU, Fri 3 ET on CBS

Of course we had to be the team to get Oral Roberts couldn't have got Iona or Grand Canyon or Drexel or something.

I never dreamed this possible this was the best Ohio State since the Craft and Sullinger days.

It was, but it was also quite shaky at times. Hard for me to compare this team to those. I feel like those reams were strong F4 contenders. This team would've needed a hot streak to get there imo.

I feel bad for Kyle Young that he didn't get the chance to play another game.

Maybe he will come back he is allowed 1 more year if he wants it because of covid.

Just sayin': It will be interesting to see who comes back for next year. I really don't expect Kyle Young (age 23, has multiple injury issues, and has already graduated) or CJ Walker (he'll be 24 next week, as a transfer this was already his 5th year in school, and he has a young daughter that I'm sure he wants to support) for that matter to return next year. They both might be at the point where it is time to move on to their chosen career, i.e. start their life after college, etc.

Lol, who in their right fucking mind that was not looking for clicks picked Oral Fucking Roberts? Or picked a random 14/15/16 seed as their "one to watch". Ohio State lost this fucking game, Oral Roberts didn't win it.

In addition, App St was a lower division powerhouse and multiple time champion. These fucks lost to every team with a pulse they played.
A lot of people? They had the leading scorer in the country and a team that can hit threes from almost every position. A 15/2 win has happened several times before.......the App St game had NEVER happened before.

But again, App State won MULTIPLE championships, and in TOURNAMENTS not in the bullshit SEC win-one-game-in-their-own-backyard way. What the fuck has Oral Roberts ever won? And, again, they lost to every team with a pulse this year save for the Brickeyes.

Oh, and the "leading scorer in the Nation" bullshit - tell me the last 5 "leading scorers in the Nation". I'm going with they were on teams that weren't great. It's a meaningless stat.

50% FT, 21% 3s, 16 TOs - that's a goddamned embarrassment.

Hey trying to keep some positivity....

I'm actually kinda over it already. It'd be harder to take if I felt like we got jobbed, but the Bucks didn't show up today.

Overconfident, complacent, just didn't bring the intensity we saw last weekend. When it was close late the pressure collapsed on them.

Oral Roberts deserved to win the game.
